Note:
After creating a license via MiAccess / SLS, it might take up to one hour before the system is able
to download the actual licence file automatically.
Alternatively, the administrator can upload the licences file manually using the Browse button in the
Licences ( =q9) view. The licence file is stored in the file system of the communication server in the
sub directory ...\data\lic.
If the system is under subscription (for example, the system has MiVoice Office 400 Elite users), the
license file cannot be uploaded manually.
4. Verify that the new licences are available in the WebAdmin (System Overview > Licences). If not,
access Mitel server via the internet or try again after some time.

6.3.3 Interface cards
The different card types, the number of slots and the maximum configuration are all determined by the
system capacity (see Chapter Expansion Stages and System Capacity).
A number of rules have to be observed when fitting the cards (see Component mounting rules.
All configuration data is centrally stored in non-volatile Flash memory. This means that configuration data is
preserved whenever a defective interface card has to be replaced by a new one.
6.3.3.1 Replacing a defective interface card
A card is replaced by the same card type with the same number of ports.

1. Carry out preparations (see Preparations).
2. Remove the housing cover.
