is increased so the lateral deflection of the glass

order to prevent the glass from getting scratched, a
glass striker is mounted on the outside of the door
glass so the beltline weather-strip outer stabilizer is
only effective when the window is fully closed. When
the window is fully closed, the glass striker is inserted
between the outer stabilizer and door glass and firmly
presses the door glass.
