The self-test checks the hardware
of
the network module, including sending and recep-
tion circuits (main loops and auxiliary
loops)
and cables in the transmission system, based
on the network module as a stand-alone module.

The self-test procedure is described below.

cable between the connectors

the network module, in a
folded-back connection.
