16.5 Installation
When installing the crankshaft, pay attention to the
notes given in the figure below.
Place cap flush with the
end face of cylinder block.
Round end down
Side seals coated with sealant
(THREE-BOND 1212)
Thrust bearing only for No. 2 cap
Cap tightening torque:
49.0 to 53.9 N·m
(5.0 to 5.5 kgf·m)
[36.17 to 39.78 lbf·ft]
Crankshaft end play:
0.05 to 0.175 mm
[0.0020 to 0.0069 in.]
