Periodic Calibration/Inspection
To maintain the quality of your Gauge Blocks, we recommend periodic calibra-
tion/inspection services provided by Mitutoyo.
Reference: Frequency of calibration/inspection
Application Cycle Grade (for reference)
Reference use 1–2 years K
Calibration use 2 years K or 0
Inspection use 2 years 0 or 1
Workshop use 6 months–2 years 1 or 2
Send your Gauge Blocks, appropriately packed with shock-absorbing material, to
Mitutoyo for calibration/inspection. If the Gauge Blocks are not appropriately packed,
the accuracy or appearance of the Gauge Blocks may be impaired during transport.
