8.5 Using the Cooler

1. Place the cooler on a firm foundation.

2. Connect the cooler, see “Plugging in the Cooler” on page 10.
3. Press the “ON/OFF” button for between one and two seconds. The
“POWER” LED lights up. The display switches on, shows the current
cooling temperature, and the cooler starts cooling the interior.

8.6 Latching the Cooler Lid
1. Lift the latch (fig. 1 ) and close the lid.
2. Release the latch.
The latch audibly clicks in place and secures the cooler
lid.
NOTICE!
Ensure the cooler has sufficient ventilation at all times so that the heat
generated during operation can dissipate. Ensure that the ventilation
slots are not covered. Make sure that the cooler is placed sufficiently
away from walls and other objects so that air can circulate. Failure to
obey this notice could result in overheating that could damage to the
cooler.
NOTICE!
Ensure that items placed in the cooler are intended to be cooled at the
selected temperature. Failure to obey this notice could result in exces-
sively low temperatures that could damage to the cooler.
NOTE
Place the cooler as shown (fig. 1 ). If you operate the cooler in a differ-
ent position it can be damaged.
NOTE
The temperature displayed is that of the middle of the interior.
The temperatures elsewhere can deviate from this temperature.
NOTE
When operating with the battery, the display switches off automatically
if the battery voltage is low. The LED “POWER” flashes orange.
