• Risk of overheating: ensure at all times that there is a minimum of 2 in.
(50 mm) ventilation on all four sides of the cooler. Keep the ventilation
area free of any objects that could restrict the air flow to the cooling
components. Do not place the cooler in closed compartments or
areas with minimal air flow.
• Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluids.
• Protect the cooler and cables against heat and moisture.
• Never immerse the cooler in water.

6 Intended Use
The MCF 32/ MCF 40 Compressor Cooler (“cooler”) is suitable for cooling and
freezing foods while camping or on a boat.When boating, the cooler can withstand
a constant heel (inclination) of 30°.
A low maintenance refrigerant circuit with a compressor provides the cooling. The
foamed-in-place insulation and the compact compressor ensure optimum cooling.
The cooler is designed to operate from a DC power supply or from an AC power
source.
• The three-level battery monitor protects the vehicle battery by
automatically switching off the cooler if a low battery voltage is
detected.
• The display includes a temperature gauge.
• The temperature setting adjusts with two buttons in steps of 2 °F
(1 °C).
