Warnings, Cautions and Dangers
WARNING: Do not drive into water that exceeds 12” in depth. Electrical inverter is mounted
under RV floor. Inverter’s case is splash resistant but not waterproof. May result in water
damage.
CAUTION: The 2 hook-and-loop straps must be detached from the upholstery before raising
popup top. Keep all objects and body parts away from the popup top lift mechanism. Before
raising the popup top, check for obstacles above the RV. Before lowering the popup top, ensure
that the popup top’s travel path is completely clear. May lead to injury or damage.
DANGER: Popup Top must be lowered when van is in motion.
CAUTION: Load carrying capacity reduced. Modifications to this vehicle have reduced the
original load carrying capacity by 603 kg or 1330 lbs.
DANGER: Do not use gas cooking appliances for comfort heating. May lead to carbon monoxide
poisoning, which can lead to death or serious injury.
WARNING: Gas cooking appliances need fresh air before safe operation: Open vents or windows
slightly or exhaust fan prior to using cooking appliances. Gas flames consume oxygen, which
should be replaced to ensure proper combustion. Improper use may result in death or serious
injury.
WARNING: Fresh water tank contains potable water only. Sanitize, flush and drain water tank
before using. See instructions, care and maintenance information below. Failure to maintain
tank may result in death or serious injury.
WARNING: Test smoke alarm operation after vehicle has been in storage, before each trip, and a
least once a week during use. Failure to do so may result in death or serious injury.
DANGER: IF YOU SMELL PROPANE:
1. Extinguish and open flames and all smoking materials
2. Shut off propane supply at the container valve(s) or propane supply connection
3. Do not touch electrical switches
4. Open doors and other ventilation openings
5. Leave the area until the odor clears
6. Have the propane system checked and leakage source corrected before using again.
Ignition of flammable vapors could lead to a fire or explosion and result in death or serious
injury.
Driving
Driving your CV1 is much like driving a large, modern SUV with these big exceptions:
1. The popup top must be lowered while the RV is motion
2. The CV1 is 8’4” tall (approximately 13’ tall with cell phone booster antenna raised) use caution
when driving under any structure or obstacle
3. To avoid water damage to the inverter mounted under the floor, do not drive into water that
exceeds 12” in depth
If you are unfamiliar with driving a vehicle that is 8’ tall and 20’ long, we recommend the following: Any
time you need to back up or there is any potential to hit nearby objects such as trees, fences, cars or
