SETTING OF WORK LOAD
If you intend to exercise with a work load of 50 watts
and a pedalling speed of 24 km/h (60 rpm), do as fol-
lows:
Check on the RPM-display of the meter that you have
achieved the correct pedalling speed.
After that the tension handwheel should be adjusted
so that 50 watts are shown on the scale for 24 km/h.
Power conversion table at other pedalling speeds
The conversion table below shows the conversion into
watts at other pedalling speeds than 24 and 28 km/h
respectively. The result is achieved according to the fol-
lowing example:
Chose as work load any of the watt numbers on the
scale for 24 km/h at the same time as you pedal with
this speed.
Let us imagine that you have chosen 120 watts as work
load. If you now increase the pedalling speed to 90
rpm the table should be read as follows:
Start from the line 24 km/h and continue to 120 watt
and further to the line for 90 rpm. You can then read
that the actual power is 180 watts. See the markings in
the table below.
