Preparation for Lithium-Ion Battery
Shipment
You can prepare stand-alone IMPRES 2, IMPRES, or other authentic Motorola Solutions Lithium-Ion batteries
for shipment by air cargo using an IMPRES 2 Multi-Unit Charger. Other battery types are faulted. If the
IMPRES 2 Lithium-Ion battery is equipped with a Sleep mode, the charger puts the battery to sleep upon
completion of Ship Lithium charge.
Prepare only stand-alone Motorola Solutions Lithium-Ion batteries for shipment. Remove the battery from the
radio before placing it into the charger.
DO NOT store a stand-alone battery in the charger. When preparation for Lithium Shipment is complete,
immediately remove the stand-alone battery from the charger.
Selection of Lithium Shipment supersedes calibration or reconditioning.
