Indoor Location is used to track radio location while the radio is indoors. When Indoor Location is
activated, your radio receives beacon information from various dedicated beacons within the range
of the radio. The radio then sends the information within a Location Information Protocol message to
the Switching and Management Infrastructure, and a mapping application decodes the information to
calculate the location of the radio.
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select BluetoothIndoor Location.
3 Select Change.
4 Select On or Off to activate or deactivate Indoor Location.
Your radio is now able to detect Bluetooth location beacons when Indoor Location is activated.
NOTE: The use of the Indoor Location feature may have a negligible impact on other Bluetooth
functions on your radio.
