Your Nextel phone offers two choices in text messaging services with
Nextel Mobile Messaging—Text and Numeric Messaging and Nextel
Two-Way Messaging.
• Text and Numeric Messaging allows others to send you a message
that is displayed directly on your Nextel phone.
• Two-Way Messaging uses the Nextel Wireless Web to provide
immediate contact, even when you can’tmakeortakeacall.Two-
Way Messaging allows you to send, receive and respond to text
messages quickly and discreetly.

Nextel Two-Way Messaging
With Two-Way Messaging, you can:
• Receive messages (up to 500 characters in length) with built-in
replies and respond to them at the touch of a button.
• Create and store your own frequently used responses that let you
send informative answers without keying in text.
• Send messages to one individual from your phone or contact
several at once from any email system or nextel.com.
• Respond to messages when you’re in a meeting or noisy location.
