Quickstore of Private IDs
Quickstore allows you to quickly store the Private ID for a received or
sent call without having to enter the Programming menu.
With the Private ID displayed:
Sending a Call Alert
You can send a call alert, which lets the recipient know that you would
like to talk with them. When you send an alert, the recipient’s phone
will chirp several times and your name (if stored) or Private ID will
appear on their display.
1 Pressounder “Store.”
2 Enter the name associated with the Private ID.
3 Pressounder “Store.” The Stored message displays with the
name that you entered.
1 Press m until you see Prvt Ready.
2 Pressounder “Alert.”
3 Select the person you want to alert by entering their Private ID
or selecting their name from a stored list. (See “Selecting a
NamefromaStoredList” on page 73.)
4 Press and hold the Push-To-Talk button until Alert-Sent Suc-
cessful displays. The alert plays intermittently until the individ-
ual answers, queues, or clears it.
