Wireless Web Navigation Keys
Some keys and buttons assume different functions when you are in Net
mode. You can navigate within the phone’s microbrowser by using the
following keys:
Mode: Your Internet-ready phone operates in four different modes:
Phone mode, Private mode, Group mode, and Net mode. Press
m to
switch between the four different modes.
Home: Press # to return to the home page.
Back: Press * to return to a previous page or screen.
Scroll: Arrows at the bottom of the phone screen ([:;)indicatethat
additional text can be viewed. Press lr (scroll keys) or (volume
control/list buttons) to scroll one line at a time, or press and hold to
scrollonepageatatime.
Starting the Microbrowser
Just as you use Netscape Navigator
®
or Microsoft
®
Internet Explorer to
browse the Web from your desktop, the microbrowser contained in your
phone allows you to explore and use a variety of Internet services.
Follow the steps below to begin using the Nextel Wireless Web:
