Making a Group Call
Receiving a Group Call
When you receive a Group call, you will hear a chirp. Your Nextel
phone automatically switches to Group mode and the Talkgroup name
displays. To join a Group call:
NOTE: You can receive Group calls only in the Talkgroups that you
have predefined.

At Add New Entry?, pressounder “Ok.”

At Enter ID, enter the assigned Talkgroup number.

Pressounder “Store.”

At Enter Name, enter the desired Talkgroup name.

Pressounder “Store.”

When finished, pressounder “Exit.”

From Group mode, press lr to scroll to the desired Talk-
group.

Press and hold the Push-To-Talk button to talk. Release the
Push-To-Talk button to listen.

Wait for the caller to finish speaking.
