Charger, Pocket, and Communications Module
The APX-Series IMPRES 2™ Adaptive Charger System is a fully
automated IMPRES 2 battery care system. The charger is equipped
with the following features:
• Adaptive charging to accommodate a wide variety of battery types,
including IMPRES 2, IMPRES™, and other authentic Motorola
Solutions batteries.
• Pocket that accommodates either a radio with attached battery or a
stand-alone battery.
• Red / Amber / Green LED indicated charger pocket status.
• Communications Module
- Programming for charger reprogramming.
- IMPRES battery data upload to an IMPRES Battery Fleet
Management System.
- (Optional) Six USB Type A charging ports, each with 0.5A for
charging of a USB accessory.
• Keypad Menu
- Charger Setup.
- Battery Analysis.
• Information Display
- Pocket #1.
- (Optional) Pocket #2 through Pocket #6.
• Energy Efficiency Features
- Compliant with California Energy Commission appliance
standards for small battery charging systems - charger Pockets
will automatically sleep, then wake to respond to user action or to
service a battery in the pocket.
- European Standby Current Limits (European Charger Kit) -
Charger Pocket #2 through Charger Pocket #6 will automatically
turn off when there is no activity for a period of time, but pressing
any Keypad button will re-power these pockets.
