Removing and Replacing the Polyphonic Speaker Assembly
1. Remove the battery cover, battery, SIM, antenna, rear housing, and headphone
speaker connector as described in the procedures.
2. Use the disassembly tool to pry the polyphonic speaker assembly out of the
rear housing as shown in Figure 13.
3. Remove any remaining speaker adhesive residue from the rear housing
assembly.
4. To replace, remove any remaining adhesive residue from speaker cavity.
5. Remove any adhesive protection material from the speaker assembly.
6. Align the speaker assembly to the opening in the rear housing.
7. Carefully press the polyphonic speaker assembly into it’s cavity on the rear
housing.
8. Replace the headphone speaker connector, rear housing, antenna, SIM,
battery, and battery cover as described in the procedures.
