Why is my MPPT SPT-10A Controller interface blinking?

  The MPPT Controller interface might be blinking because of several reasons: battery voltage higher than over voltage disconnect voltage (OVD), battery under voltage, battery low voltage disconnect, overload, or short circuit. If the battery voltage is too high, disconnect the solar module. If the load output is normal, the charging LED indicator will return to green automatically when fully charged. In case of overload or short circuit, remove or reduce the load and press the button; the controller will resume to work after 3 seconds.

  If the wire connections are correct but the LCD on your MPPT Controller isn't displaying, it could be because the battery voltage is lower than 9V. Check the battery voltage; it needs to be at least 9V to activate the controller.

  If the LCD on your MPPT Controller is off during the daytime when sunshine is properly falling on the PV modules, the cause might be PV array disconnection. Confirm that the PV and battery wire connections are correct and tight.
