If your MTD Snow Blower isn't throwing snow, the chute assembly might be clogged. Stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and then use a clean-out tool or stick to carefully remove any blockage from the chute and inside the auger housing. Also, check the shear pins; if they're broken, replace them. Ensure no foreign objects are lodged in the auger. If there is, stop the engine immediately, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object. Furthermore, the auger control cable might be out of adjustment, so adjust the auger control cable.
