NOTE: When installing a push rod bushing plate, make
sure the bushings extend away from the cylinder
head. See Figure 9.18.
9. Install by following the above steps in reverse order.
NOTE: Tighten the rocker studs to a torque of 16 - 18 ft-lbs
(22 - 25 Nm).
10. Adjust the valve lash by following the steps
described in Chapter 1: Introduction.
11. Test run the mower in a safe area before returning it
to service. Check all safety features.
