Warnings
Take special care with the use of the electric stimulation:
- if after an operation the healing process can be interrupted through a muscle contraction.
- after acute bleeding or bone fractures with a tendency to bleed.
- during menstruation or pregnancy
- in case of desensitized skin with nerve damage.
- if stimulation is located close to osteosynthesis material (metal in the body).
- if patients cannot use the device properly, due to mental or physical limitations.
Please note the following information:
DoloBravo is a type BF equipment and may not be immersed in liquids.
If at the same time the connection is made with a surgical high frequency apparatus, this could
result in burn marks underneath the electrodes.
If device operation occurs close to short waves or a microwave, instability of the initial values
of the stimulator could occur.
The application of the electrodes nearby the thorax can increase the risk of cardiac brillation.
Should skin irritation occur whilst using the DoloBravo, please interrupt the application and
inform your doctor - to exclude an allergic reaction.
If in the case of treatment with the probe, pain or irritation appear in the area of the pelvis, or
bleeding in-between menstruation, interrupt the therapy and consult your doctor.
Patients with metal implants may only stimulate with permission of an experienced doctor.
Stimulation in the areas of tumors is allowed only by instruction of the specialized physician.
The DoloBravo may not be operated if the battery compartment is not closed.
Before opening the battery compartment, make sure that there are no cables in the jacks at the
head of the unit to eliminate any possibility of current ow.
The operator should not touch the battery contacts & patient simultaneously.
Never connect the device directly to a battery charger or to any other mains powered equipment.
If using rechargeable batteries be sure to use a CE approved battery charger.
The DoloBravo is protected against debris larger than 12.5 mm in diameter from entering the
cabinet, is not water resistant and rated IP20.
If you have swallowed any part of the device or any of its accessories, please contact a doctor
immediately.
Electrodes can contain amounts of nickel. Allergy sufferers should check this before using.
Please keep this device stored out of the reach of children.
