7.24.3 LOP – Test procedures
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
Preparatory steps
1. Connect battery in accordance with battery
manufacturer's instructions.
2. Switch master power switch to ON.
3. Switch on engine management system
ECS-5.
Result: • LOCAL OPERATION button (1) is illumi‐
nated brightly (local control mode is ac‐
tive);
• CLUTCH NEUTRAL button (2) is illumi‐
nated brightly (gearbox disengaged).
Switching between local and
remote control mode
1. Press LOCAL OPERATION button (1).
Result: • LOCAL OPERATION button (1) flashes:
Setting does not correspond with feed‐
back signal from ECU and GCU.
• LOCAL OPERATION button (1) is illumi‐
nated at basic brightness: Remote con‐
trol mode is active.
2. Press LOCAL OPERATION button (1)
again.
Result: LOCAL OPERATION button (1) is illuminat‐
ed brightly (local control mode is active);
