Blended Ice Machine Model MS-8-1H
To break the bacteria cycle
For 24-hour restaurants: During low-volume periods
Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) – The procedures on this card include the use of chemical products.
These chemical products will be highlighted with bold face letters followed by the abbreviation (HCS) in the
tools portion of the procedure. See the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) manual for the appropriate
Material Safety Data Sheet(s) (MSDS).
Bucket, clean and
sanitized towels
McD Sanitizer
solution (HCS)
Wear hand protection.
Wear rubber gloves when
handling cleaner and
sanitizer.
Remove parts for cleaning and
sanitizing.
Remove the following items
and take them back to the
three compartment sink to
wash, rinse and sanitize.
Do not place parts in “Power
Soaker”.
Ice bin lid
Pitchers
Syrup Rails
Drip Pan (located
inside the machine at
the bottom)
Splash guard
Sanitize ice chute
Use a spray bottle with
Sanitizer solution and a towel
to sanitize:
Above and around the
ice chute
Inside the ice chute
McD Sanitizer Solution
Clean pitcher pad and drain
area.
Use coffee pot of hot
water to rinse drain
area and drain.
Spray with Sanitizer
solution and wipe
with a clean towel.
Clean top and sides
of the pad.
McD Sanitizer Solution
Re-install all components to air
dry.
