Function Description:

The TC-29P operates as a PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) or ON-OFF temperature controller. It continuously monitors the process temperature via a J-type thermocouple input and adjusts the output to maintain the desired set point. The device provides both relay and SSR output options, offering flexibility for different control applications.

Usage Features:

Display and Indicators: The controller features a bright red LED display for the process value and an "HO" indicator, likely for heating output. A "TUNE" indicator is also present, suggesting an auto-tuning function.
Key Operations:
- Set Point Setting: The set point can be adjusted by pressing the SET key along with the UP or DOWN keys. Releasing the SET key stores the latest set value.
- Basic Configuration: To enter basic configuration, the user must input "73" as a password. Parameters like control action (PID/ON-OFF) and offset can be configured here.
- Control Parameter Setting: For advanced control settings, the user needs to enter "37" as a password. This section allows configuration of PID parameters (Proportional Band (PB), Integral Time (IT), Derivative Time (DT), Cycle Time (CT)), Hysteresis for ON-OFF control, Manual Reset, and Offset.
PID Auto-Tuning: The device supports auto-tuning, initiated by pressing the UP key for 6 seconds. This feature helps optimize PID parameters for stable and accurate temperature control.
Factory Setting Reset: The controller allows resetting to factory default settings by pressing the UP key for 3 seconds, then confirming with the SET key.

- "5-E": Indicates reverse sensor connection.
- "OPEn": Indicates an open or disconnected sensor.
Power-On Sequence: Upon power-on, the display shows a sequence of patterns: "8.8.8.8." (for 2 seconds), "Ec" (for 2 seconds, indicating sensor type), "Pid" or "HYS" (for 2 seconds, indicating control action), and finally the process value.
Set Point Display: The set point can be viewed by pressing the DOWN key.
Auto Out Time: The auto out time is 15 seconds without saving.

- Avoid metal pieces or wire clippings from entering the product.
- Do not connect anything to unused terminals.
Mechanical Installation:
- Requires a panel cutout of 68x68 mm.
- The unit should be fitted into the panel using the provided clamps.
- Avoid proximity to heating sources, caustic vapors, oil steam, or other unwanted process by-products.
- Use M3.5 screws for wiring terminal blocks, tightening to 1.2 N.m.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: The equipment should be cleaned regularly with a clean soft cloth to prevent blockage of ventilating parts. Avoid using isopropyl alcohol or other cleaning agents.
Fuse Replacement: The fusible resistor must not be replaced by the operator.
