S08 MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE OIL FILTER
Replace the oil lter every time the engine oil is drained.
1. Remove the oil lter with a lter wrench tool. Turn the
lter counter-clockwise (CCW). Remove the gasket.
2. Clean the mating surface in order to prevent impurities
from entering the engine.
3. Apply a lm of oil on the new gasket. Screw the new
lter by hand with the new gasket. When the gasket
contacts the mating surface, turn the lter a half turn.
4. Fill with proper amount of new oil. Check for leaks and
check the oil level.
5. Start the engine and let it operate few minutes at idle.
Check if the oil pressure warning lamp turns off.
6. Stop the engine, wait for the engine to cool down and
check the oil level. Top up if necessary.
