3.3.2 CORNER TERMINATION
GD36
The maximum vent length for a corner installation is 24", where only 6" of vertical rise is used. All corner
installations require a minimum 6" rise. See illustration below.
BGD36
The maximum vent length for a corner installation is 20" of horizontal run, in addition to 45° offset. In this case
0" rise is acceptable when using rigid. Flexible venting must maintain a 6" rise. See illustration below.

Use the periscope kit to locate the air termination above grade. The periscope must be installed so that when
fi nal grading is completed, the bottom air slot is located a minimum 12” above grade. The maximum allowable
vent length is 10’ for a fi replace and 8’ for a stove.
