      If the oven and control panel lights on your Napoleon Gas grill are not working, plug the power cord into a working GFI protected outlet in the electrical box on the back of the grill and plug the transformer cord into the power box. Replace the fuse located on the outlet line of the transformer and check the transformer output, which should be 12VAC, and replace if required. Clean the connections and ensure connectors are pushed together firmly. Access to the circuit board is under the electrical cover on the left side of the cabinet. Replace the bulbs as per the instructions in the maintenance section of the manual.

Clean the connections and ensure connectors are pushed together firmly. Access to the circuit board is under the electrical cover on the left side of the cabinet. Replace the igniter, located under the electrical cover. Clean or replace the electrodes as required.

      The "paint" peeling inside your Napoleon grill lid is not a defect. The finish on the lid and hood is porcelain and will not peel. The peeling is caused by hardened grease, which dries into paint-like shards that flake off. Regular cleaning will prevent this. See the cleaning instructions.
