on slowly to allow pressure to equalize. See

Pipe must be sized according to installaƟon
code.
Preheat grill with both main burners on high
for 10 to 15 minutes.
Edžcessiǀe Ňare-ups

Sear plates installed incorrectly.
Improper preheaƟng.
Edžcessiǀe grease and ash build on sear
plates and in drip pan.
Ensure sear plates are installed with the holes
towards the front and the slots on the boƩom.

Clean sear plates and drip pan regularly. Do not
line pan with aluminum foil. Refer to cleaning

the performance or safety of the gas grill.
,umming regulators will not be replaced.
Burners will not cross
light each other.
Dirty or corroded cross light bracŬets. Clean or replace as required.
Paint appears to be
peeling inside lid or
hood.
Grease build-up on inside surfaces. dhis is not a defect. dhe Įnish on the lid and
hood is porcelain, and will not peel. dhe
peeling is caused by hardened grease, which
dries into paint-liŬe shards that ŇaŬe oī.
Regular cleaning will preǀent this. See cleaning
instrucƟons.
Burner output on high
seƫng is too low.
