Ensure lighƟng procedure is followed carefully.
All gas grill ǀalǀes must be in the oī posiƟon
when the tanŬ ǀalǀe is turned on. durn tanŬ
on slowly to allow pressure to equalize. See
lighƟng instrucƟons.
Pipe must be sized according to installaƟon
code.
Preheat grill with both main burners on high
for 10 to 15 minutes.
Edžcessiǀe Ňare-ups
uneǀen heat.
Sear plates installed incorrectly.
Improper preheaƟng.
Edžcessiǀe grease and ash build on sear
plates and in drip pan.
Ensure sear plates are installed with the holes
towards the front and the slots on the boƩom.
See assembly instrucƟons.
Preheat grill with both main burners on high
for 10 to 15 minutes.
Clean sear plates and drip pan regularly. Do not
line pan with aluminum foil. Refer to cleaning
instrucƟons.
Burners burn with
yellow Ňame,
accompanied by the
smell of gas.
Possible spider web or other debris, or
improper air shuƩer adjustment.
dhoroughly clean burner by remoǀing. See
general maintenance instrucƟons. Open air
shuƩer slightly according to combusƟon air
adjustment instrucƟons. ;dhis must be done
by a qualiĮed gas installer.Ϳ

,umming regulator. Normal occurrence on hot days. dhis is not a defect. It is caused by internal
ǀibraƟons in the regulator and does not aīect
the performance or safety of the gas grill.
,umming regulators will not be replaced.
Burners will not cross
light each other.
Dirty or corroded cross light bracŬets. Clean or replace as required.
Paint appears to be
peeling inside lid or
hood.
Grease build-up on inside surfaces. dhis is not a defect. dhe Įnish on the lid and
hood is porcelain, and will not peel. dhe
peeling is caused by hardened grease, which
dries into paint-liŬe shards that ŇaŬe oī.
Regular cleaning will preǀent this. See cleaning
instrucƟons.
