10. Tips & Tricks
10.1 Software Lock
A wrong setting of the iNput moDe can lead to all kinds of audio problems. To
avoid accidental switching of the iNput moDe, lock the desired iNput moDe with the
softwAre lock feature.
Open the Settings Tool and click on softwAre lock to disable any action of the iNput
moDe switch on the front panel of the AUDIO 8 DJ. It is lit red if active.
10.2 USB Security Hook
Twine your USB cable around the usB security hook to prevent the USB cable
from being accidentally disconnected.
10.3 Ground Screw
If you experience interferences or hum in your audio signal, use the g rouND s crew to
connect the AUDIO 8 DJ to a suitable ground connection, e.g. to the one provided
by your mixer. A separate wire is required for this.
