ordisposeofengineuids,lters,andother
contaminatedmaterialsaccordingtoapplicable
regulations.

protectiveclothingwhendraininghotoil.

Topreventpersonalinjuryordeath,donotlet
engineuidsstayonyourskin.Cleanskinand
nailsusinghandcleanerandwashwithsoap
andwater.Washordiscardclothingandrags
contaminatedwithengineuids.
1.Parkthevehicleonlevelground.Settheparkingbrakeand
shiftthetransmissiontoparkorneutral.
2.Beforeattemptingtoopenthecentrifugeoillter,wait2
minutestoassuretherotorhasstoppedspinning.
NOTE:Whenseparatingthecoverassemblyfromthebody
assembly,itmaybenecessarytoinsertacoinoratblade
screwdriverintothegaptostarttheseparation.
3.Turnthebandclamphandlecounterclockwiseuntilthetee
boltheadcanbedisengaged.Removebandclamp.
4.Removethecoverandrotorassemblyfromthebody
assembly.
