originalqualityofyouremissioncertiedengine.Ifpartsnot
recommendedbyNavistarcausedamagetotheengineor
vehicle,thewarrantyisinvalidandmaintenanceandrepair
costswillnotbecovered.
EMERGENCYREPAIRS
Emergencyrepairsarerecognized,ifpartsarenotavailable
within30daysorrepairsarenotcompletedwithin30days.
Ifanauthorizedserviceproviderisnotreasonablyavailable,
thevehicleowneroranyserviceestablishmentcaninstallany
replacementpart.
Navistarwillreimburseyouforemergencyrepairs(including
diagnostics)forthefollowing:
•Replacementpartsthatdonotexceedmanufacturer's
suggestedretailprice.
•Laborchargesbasedonmanufacturer'srecommended
timeallowanceandgeographichourlyrate.
Replacedpartsandpaidinvoicesmustbegiventoyourdealer
forreimbursementofemergencyrepairs.

Unauthorizedpartsorexpendableparts
•PartsotherthanMaxxForce
®
servicepartsorReNEWed
®
parts.
•Aftermarketpartsorservicekits
•Non-defectivepartsreplacedbyanunauthorizedservice
provider.
•Partsrequiringreplacementatinspectionoradjustment
maintenanceintervalsforreasonsotherthanbeing
defective.
•Replacementofexpendableitemsmadeinconnection
withscheduledmaintenance.
Vehicle,engine,andpartmalfunctionscausedbythe
following:
•Useofincorrectfuel,engineoil,orcoolant
•Failuretomaintaincorrectmaintenanceschedule
•Incorrectadjustments,modications,alterations,
tamperingordisconnectionofvehiclecomponents.
•Abuseormisuseofengine
