APP CONTROL
IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLING AND CONNECTING THE DEVICE, IT IS RECOMMENDED
TO CONNECT AT LEAST 1 PHONE WITH THE DEVICE. OTHERWISE WI-FI IS DEACTIVATED
AFTER 8 MINUTES FOR SECURITY REASONS. IN THIS CASE, THE DEVICE MUST BE
DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY AND CONNECTED AGAIN BEFORE BEING
CONNECTED TO THE PHONE FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Download the X-manager app to your smartphone or tablet from the Google Play Store
(Android) or the App Store (Apple).
Find, name and add your reader in the X-Manager app.
Click on the name to establish a connection.
Start entering administrator ngerprints in the app.

Perform the factory reset.

ON/OFF FREE ENTRANCE MODE
1 TO ACTIVATE, PRESS BUTTON 1 ON THE CONTROL UNIT.
The blue LED starts ashing.

2 THE ADMINISTRATOR CONFIRMS THE OPERATION WITH
THEIR FINGERPRINT.
AS LONG AS THE FREE ENTRANCE MODE IS ON, THE GREEN
LED REMAINS ON.
Hold button 1 until the green LED is replaced by the blue one.

FACTORY RESET
The purple LED ashes 5 times and you hear 5 beeps. All
ngerprints stored in the memory, including administrator
ngers, will be erased and the device will be reset to factory
settings.
TO PRESS THIS BUTTON, FIRST REMOVE THE SCREW. THE
BUTTON IS LOCATED UNDER THE SCREW. PRESS AND
HOLD THE R BUTTON FOR 10 SECONDS.

HOLD BUTTON 2 UNTIL THE BLUE LED IS TURNED ON/OFF.
BUTTON FUNCTIONS on the door prole built-in control unit
If you have a door prole built-in control unit, but you wish to operate the reader using the app, buttons 1 and 2
will serve as shortcuts to turn on/o the free passage mode and blue lighting.
