Calculator
The numeric keypad located on the right side of your keyboard will serve as your calculator. See the figures
below to relate the display to the keys on the numeric keypad that control it.
The calculator can process up to 10 digits to the left of the decimal point, and up to 9 to the right. When a
number or number operator is pressed, it is momentarily highlighted on the display.
Number operators are defined as follows:
+, -, /, X - the
respective operations of addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
MS - store
s the displayed value in memory. MR - displays the stored value.
M+ - adds the display
ed value to memory.
+/- - makes a
number positive/negative.
C/A - displays 0.0 when the Num Lock k
ey is pressed.

PC Calculator Display
Since the function keys F13-F16 are not available on the PC numeric keypad, the following functions are not
available: MS, MR, M+, +/-, and %. The Num Lock key will perform the C/A function. When using the Compact
PC 101/102-key keyboard, the calculator layout displayed will be that of the PC 101-key keyboard. However,
the “-” key is in a different location on the Compact keyboard.
Additional Control Keys
In addition to the keys on the numeric keypad, you may use:
T - toggle “tap
e” on/off. Results scroll above the display.
P - toggle “pri
nter” on/off. Results are transmitted onto the printer.
Use the printer option only when a printer is connected. Press Ctrl-Shift-Tab to clear a printer error.
X - exit the calculator, transmitting the final result to the current application.

) - specify the precision, where the number of decimal places that will be
displayed is equal to the number pressed with the Ctrl key.
