FAXU (FAX/Voice Announce Unit)
DUD with Automated Attendant
The FAXU provides guidance messages for DUD to help callers reach an extension or FAX connection
easily. It can answer a incoming call. The FAXU allows you to record 5 phrase of Attendant messages (1-5)
for Automated Attendant. The recording time for Attendant messages are as followings. Since all of these
messages are recorded by the user, incoming calls can be handled in the user's native language. Ask your
supplier for more details.
This feature requires an optional 3FAXU Unit. Check with your supplier for details.

After System answered automatically on FAX/DUD Line,
this message is sent before dialing Extension number.
Example Message:
Thank you for calling. This is Infrontia Corporation.
If you wish to send your FAX Message, please press
“START” key now. If you wish to talk, please wait a
moment. Operator will answer.
2 Greeting Message 2

After System answered automatically on DUD Line, this
message is sent before dialing Extension number.
Example Message:
Thank you for calling. This is infrontia Corporation.
Please enter the extension number “1” to “7” or dial
“0” to Operator.
3 Error Message
(Recording Time:
Max. 9 sec.)
This message is sent in case outside caller dials an invalid
Extension number(dial “*”,”8”or”9”) .
Example Message:
That is an invalid number, Please dial again.
4 Transfer Message
(Recording Time:
Max. 9 sec.)
This is message is sent in case the incoming call is
transferred to Operator for reason of unanswered on some
of features.
Example Message:
Your call will be transferred to operator.
5 Termination Message
(Recording Time:
Max. 9 sec.)
This Message is sent before the call is cut off forcibly.
Example Message:
This line will be terminated.
