BEEP
The
Sound
Beep function sounds the beep tone
on
the APC. The 110 buffer
addressed
by
registers
DS
and
DX
contains beep
data.
Register
AX
is
set to the
1/0
buffer length in bytes. Beep
data
consists
of
control
commands
and
parameters.
Control
commands
set the loudness
and
type
of
sound. The
parameters
control
frequency
and
tone period.
Control
data
is
written in the following format.
The loudness parameter,n,
is
optional. Table 6-6 lists the values for n.
Control
data
is
effective until the next
control
data
is
specified.
Band
P are mutually exclusive
commands. They
cannot
be specified together.
