GRAPHIC
INPUT
(GIN)
When
GIN
is
invoked
on
the VT100 Retro-Graphics

cursor
appears
on
the screen.
The crosshair can be moved by pressing one
of
the
four cursor movement keys (up, down, left, right)
on
the
top
row
of
keys
on
the keyboard. When the
cursor
is
at
the desired location, the
point
can
be
selected by pressing any alphanumeric key
(other
than

This ,causes the coordinates

transmitted
back
to
the user
program.
The terminal must be set up so
that
GIN
is
termi-
nated
by

two trailer codes in Retro-Graphics set-up
mode
to

hex respectively. Refer to the instruc-
tions in the

for
Retro-Graphics Model
VT640, "Set Up Procedures," for a further discussion
of
trailer characters.
