NOTE
It is recommended that [Network Monitor] be added to services.
[Network Monitor] can monitor frames (or packets) transmitted and
received by the computer in which [Network Monitor] is installed. This tool
is useful for network failure analysis. For the installation procedure of this
tool, refer to the user's guide.
Re-install the Network Driver
The network driver will be installed automatically.
Optional Network Driver
The following explains the installation procedure applied when an optional network
board (N8104-86/111/103/112/113) is used.
When using the N8104-86/111/103/112/113, see the following procedure and install a
driver included in the NEC difference module.
For the N8104-111/86

<Installing the network driver for an optional board>
1. Start the device manager.
2. Select [Network adapters] and double-click [(Network Adapter Name)].
The [(Network Adapter Name) Properties] dialog box is displayed.
NOTE
[(Intel(R) PRO/1000...)] is an on-board adapter. The other network
adapter names indicate optional boards.
3. Select the [Driver] tab, and click [Update Driver...].
[Hardware Update Wizard] appears.
4. Select [Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)] and click [Next].
5. Select the [Search for the best driver in these locations] radio button and check
off the [Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...)] check box.
6. Check [Include this location in the search], and enter the following:
For the 8104-111/86

Click [Next].
Search for the driver starts, and after the driver is found, installation of the driver
starts.
7. Click [Finish].
