Thissectiondescribesthesimplemaintenanceproceduresyoushouldfollowtocleanthelters,theprojectionwindow,
thecabinet,andtoreplacethelampandthelters.
❶ Cleaning the Filters
Filtersarexedattwopositionsonthisprojector.
Intakeventlter:
Atthebottomofcontrolpanel.
Preventtheprojectorinsidefromdustanddirtaccumulation.
Colorwheellter:
Fixedinsidethelampcover.
Preventthecolorwheelfromdustanddirtaccumulation.
Inthismanual,calltheintakeventlter“Filter(A)”andthecolorwheellter“Filter(B)”.
IfdustanddirtaccumulatesontheFilter(A),itmaycauseoftroublebyoverheat.Cleanitperiodically.Cleaningisnot
necessaryfortheFilter(B).

• Donotuseaspraycontainingammablegastogetridofaccumulateddustanddirtonthelters.Itmaycause
ofre.
NOTE:Themessageforltercleaningwillbedisplayedforoneminuteaftertheprojectoristurnedon.Whenthemessageisdis-
played,cleanthelter.
Tocancelthemessage,pressanybuttonontheprojectorcabinetortheremotecontrol.
CAUTION
• Beforecleaningthelter,turnofftheprojectorandunplugthepowercordrst.Waitandmakesureuntilthe
unithascooleddowncompletely.Removingtheltercoverwhentheunitisrunningcouldresultinburns.
Turnofftheprojectorandunplugthepowercordbeforecleaningthecabinetorreplacingthelamp.
