To operate in TELCOM, the PC-8201 must have an external modem,
connection cable, and a telephone.
Starting TELCOM
Move the cursor onto the word TELCOM in the MENU
mode. Select this feature by pressing the Key. The following
display will be on your screen:

Stat Term
The "8171XS" appearing on the first line is the parameter which
displays the current data transmission format.
Refer to the section in this chapter on STAT command
