17. Once upload completes close upload window and disconnect from SV8100 by choosing
Communications/Connect or press F5.
18. Wait for data to write to CPU.
19. Restart the SV8100 for all changes to take effect
*If there is a PZ-ME50 mounted on the CCPU-US the system will automatically assign the InMail beginning port
as 497. If there is NO PZ-ME50 mounted on the CCPU-US the system will automatically assign the InMail
beginning port as 57.
1.2 Programming the VM8000 InMail via Telephone, PC-Pro or Web Pro
47-01-17 Set first port of In-Mail 57.
11-07-01 Set TEL Group 2 to 200.
WARNING: Never use group 1 as this is the default group for all extensions.
15-03-01 Set extension 157-164 to DP.
15-03-03 Set extension 157-164 to Special.
16-02-01 Put 157-164 in Group 2.
16-02-01 Assign priorities 1-8 to 157-164.
16-01-01 Set Group 2 name to VM Hunt.
16-01-04 Set Group 2 to Circular.
16-01-10 Set Group 2 to Busy/No Answer.
45-01-01 Set to Group 2.
1.3 Routing Calls to Main Greeting
At default calls into the main greeting Call Routing box 1, are allowed to dial:
1. Any three digit extension that starts with 1.
2. Any 4 digit extension that starts with 3.
3. Dialing 0 transfers to 101.
4. The timeout option transfers to 101.
5. # + ”extension number” logs the user into that mailbox.
6. * + ”extension number” plays that mailboxes personal greeting and takes a message.
If needed, other one-key dialing options or allowing users to call extensions starting with other digits can be
set here. For any other extensions, the leading digit must be setup similar to below or you will not be able to
dial it from the dial action table.
22-02-01 Set all trunks to be routed to Auto Attendant to DIL (4).
22-07-01 Set all trunks to be routed to Auto Attendant to 200.
1.4 Record Main Greeting
1. From 101 press VMsg key.
2. When in mailbox dial 72 to access System Administration.
3. Press [Instr] softkey, when prompted for box number enter 001.
4. Press [Rec] softkey and record Day Main Greeting.
5. Press [Done] to end recording.
