2.0 Dialing Options
2.1 Directory Dialing
This will allow the caller to dial 5 from the Main Greeting and get to the directory. At default the directory is set
for First-Last name lookup.
47-07-02 Set Call Routing Mailbox 4 to Type Directory (3).
47-13-01 Set Table 1, Key 05, to Action GOTO (7) and Data 004.
15-01-01 Enter a First and Last name for mailboxes 1-10 (ext 101-111).
47-15-03 Confirm Routing Directory Mailbox 4 is set for First (0).
47-01-16 Confirm name format is set to 1stLst (0).
47-02-15 Set each mailbox 1-10 for Directory List 2.
47-15-02 Set Mailbox (directory box) 4 to use Directory List 2.
47-15-01 Set minimum characters callers must dial for Directory Mailbox 4 (default is 1).
47-15-04 Set desired transfer method used by Mailbox (directory box) 4.
2.2 Record the directory prompt
If you record your own greeting rather then using the default prompt, remember to instruct callers to enter a
pound ( # ) after they are finished dialing the letters.
1. From 101 press VMsg key
2. When in mailbox dial 72 to access System Administration.
3. Press [Instr] softkey, when prompted for box number enter 004.
4. Press [Rec] softkey and record Directory Greeting.
5. Press [Done] to end recording.
6. When finished hang up.
2.3 Record a mailbox name
1. From extension press VMsg key
2. When in mailbox dial 76 to record name.
3. Press [REC] softkey and record name.
4. Press [Done] to end recording.
5. When finished hang up.
2.4 Routing Mailbox Dialing Options
Dialing options are defined in one of the 16 Dial Action tables. These tables can be associated with various
Call Routing boxes to provide callers to dial extension numbers or one key dialing options. At default callers
can dial extensions 1xx, 2xx, 3xxx along with options to log into a mailbox or be routed to an operator. To
change dial options use program 47-08-01 to determine the Dial Action Table that is associated with a
particular Routing Mailbox. Then go to 47-13-01 and make the appropriate changes for that Routing Mailbox..
47-08-01 Confirm Call Routing Mailbox 1 is set to use Dial Action Table 1 (default).
47-13-01 Set Table 1, Key xx, to desired action and additional data if needed.
