Administrator’s mailbox.
5.0 Routing Inbound DID to a Specific Mailbox
In the past to have inbound DIDs ring a group then forward to a specific mailbox required the use of a Virtual
extension. Using the method below will allow the call to be directed to a ring group then forward to voice mail
carrying a specified station ID without using a virtual extension.
22-11-01 Received Number
Assign the received DID digits to be routed.
22-11-02 Target Number
In this field put the “@” symbol followed by the extension ID to be sent to voice mail. For example
@150 will send extension ID 150.
22-11-04 Transfer Operation Mode
Set this field to Busy/No Answer so the initial ring group has time to answer the call.
22-11-05 Transfer Target 1
This is the department group of phones that should ring before the caller is sent to voice mail.
22-11-06 Transfer Target 2
Set this field to 102, this specifies the InMail as the second target.
If needed a mailbox should be created for the callers to leave messages in. It can be a group mailbox
or a regular subscriber mailbox. It just needs to have the extension ID as set in 22-11-02, in this case
150.
