3.4 Modem Setting on IOC side
The following procedure is explained based on Windows XP.
STEP 1: Connect the modem to COM1 of the PC with a sttaight cable.
Note: If [Hardware Connection Wizard] is displayed, press the [Cancel] button.
STEP 2: Display the [Hyper Terminal] window.
Click [start]
→ [Programs] → [Accessories] → [Communications] → [Hyper Terminal].
STEP 3: Set the connection.
1. Enter a name and an icon for the connection, and click the [OK] button.
