CHAPTER 3 Setting Up PCPro
4. Communication Link with the Telephony Server
4.1 Establishing a Link
To establish a communication link between PCPro and the Telephony Server, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Launch PCPro.
STEP 2: On the Main Menu, click [System] > [Connect]. or, click the Connect icon on the toolbar.
The [Connect] screen is displayed.
Note: An error message is displayed when the connection account is not assigned. Click [OK] button to display
the [connection account setting] window, and set the Connection Account. For the detail. refer to Connec-
tion Account Setting.
STEP 3: Select a connection account.
The default connection account is not registered. Therefore, create a new connection account at the
first time connection. For instructions on how to create a connection account, see “Connection
Account Setting”.
STEP 4: Enter the user ID and system password.
The default user account is not registered. Therefore, create a new user account at the first time
connection. For instructions on how to create a connection account, see “User Account Setting
”.
STEP 5: Click the [Connect] button.
If multiple PCPro are launched on the same PC, only one PCPro can connect to the connection
account.
A communication link has now been established between PCPro and the Telephony Server.
