CHAPTER 3 Setting Up PCPro
When the step 1 through 7 are set, “OK” is displayed.
Note 1: If “OK” is not displayed after the step 1 is set, operate as follows.
- Set the step 2, and then set the step 1 again.
- Enter “ATQQE” and press the [Enter] key, and then set the step 1 again.
Note 2: After the step 7 is set, echo back will not be provided.
Note 3: After the step 8 is set, “OK” will not be displayed.
STEP 6: Disconnect the straight cable from the modem.
STEP 7: Use “2400 RS-232C CA-3 cable” and “SV 4PORT CA-A cable” to connect between IOC and modem.
(In the case of IPX system, use “IPX 2PORT CA-A cable” instead of “SV 4PORT CA-A cable”)
STEP 8: Exit the hyper terminal.
Now the modem setting on IOC side has been complete.
3.5 Modem Setting on PCPro side
The following procedure is explained based on Windows XP.
STEP 1: Select “Phone and Modem Options” from [start]
→ [Settings] → [Control Panel].

9 Backup the value of command and REGISTER to memory.
