Salt must be added when the LED underneath the symbol shown in the box on the left
lightsup.
Topupwithsaltwhenthereisnowaterinthetanktopreventwashingwaterfromgetting
intothewatersoftenerdevice.
Thesalttankhasacapacityofabout1kgofcoarse‐grainedsalt.
Thesalttankisinthebottomoftheappliance'stank.Afterremovingthebasket,undothe
cap and pour the salt in using the funnel supplied. Remove any salt residues around the
openingbeforescrewingthecapbackon.
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Although no particular scheduled maintenance is required, users are advised to have the warewasher
checkedbyaspecialisttechniciantwiceayear.
The internal pipe of the detergent peristaltic pump should be checked and/or replaced by the After‐
Sales Serviceevery 12 monthsor15,000 wash cyclesand operation of thediaphragm rinse aidpump
shouldbechecked.
N.B.themanufactureracceptsnoliabilityforwilfuldamageordamagederivingfromcarelessness,
neglect,failuretocomplywithinstructions,regulationsandstandardsorincorrectconnections,which
leadtoforfeitureofwarrantycover.
Ifpossible,leavethedoorajarwhennotinuse;
Cleansurfacesthoroughlyandoftenwithadampcloth;useneutral,non‐abrasivedetergentswhichdo
notusechlorinecompounds,whichcorrodeanddamagestainlesssteel.
Donotusetheproductsmentionedaboveevenwhencleaningthefloorunderneathorinthevicinityof
thewarewasher,toensurethatfumesordropscannotdamagethesteelsurfaces.
The warewasher has IPX4 protection but pointing water jets straight at it for cleaning is
forbidden
