The Single-Q system is a wireless remote controlled system that’s built around the central unit NQ
Receiver. The image below shows the structure of a full Single-Q system. The maximum number of
workstations is 32.
1. NQ Sound unit - Two different speaker units can be used, either a standard “gong” speaker
(item no.11200) or a voice speaker with prerecorded announcements (item no.11202). The
voice speaker can call two sequential prerecorded voice announcements for situations in
need of two languages.
2. NQ Receiver central unit – supplies powers the displays and speakers. All cabling is done with
standard cat 5. Used to link new remote controls and to configure the system.
3. Power supply - 100-240V~, DC output 12.0V
4. Nemo-Q TCD main display with buzzer (item no. 11603-71E) - Shows workstation number
and directional arrow. Has a small buzzer to use as the main sound announcement or as a
supplement to another sound unit. Buzzer can be turned off.
5. Nemo-Q TCD indicator displays - The standard NQ TCD can be used as a workstation indicator
showing the workstation number. The indicator shows the workstation number at all times
and when calling a customer the number flashes briefly.
6. NQ Remote control - Used for calling customers and configuring the system.
Frequency: 433, 46 MHz
NOTE: The sound units and indicators are considered optional. The system can be used without
them.
