3.3 Recommendations with your battery:
• Avoid proximity to sources of heat.
• Avoid short-circuits in any of the connections.
• Do not use the battery for anything other than the specified purpose.
• Do not expose the battery to temperatures exceeding 40°C or below 20° C.
• Do not drop the battery; always place it on a stable surface.
• If you need to remove the battery from its mounting to charge it, the battery must always be placed in a
horizontal, flat position, and never left in a vertical position.
• Warning: there is a risk of short-circuit and overheating if the batteries are subject to sudden impact. This is
a particular fragility of these batteries.
• Always ensure that the charger is compatible with the local electric power network.
• When the charge cycle is complete, it is recommended that you disconnect the charger from the battery.
• For periods of over 15 days when the bicycle is not in use, we recommend that you store the battery in a
cool, ventilated location with a temperature above 10° C but below 40° C.
• Never leave your battery completely empty, as this can damage it.
• For a prolonged period where the battery is not used, it is necessary to recharge the battery for
two hours every two months.
• Never leave the battery exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period.
• It is crucial that you protect the battery from frost and heat.
• Never allow a child to play with or handle the battery.
• Never recharge the battery in the rain or in a humid location.
• Never open the battery. Opening the battery may lead to a significant risk of electrocution, and render the
warranty void.
• Never spray the battery directly with water or any other liquid.
• Do not submerge the battery.
• Only use the charger supplied to recharge your e-bike’s battery. Any other chargers not designed for this
battery may cause an accident.
WARNING ! WHEN USING TOO LITTLE FREQUENT BATTERY (1 ONCE EVERY 2 MONTHS ONLY) CAPACITY
DECREASE THEREOF MUCH FASTER THAN ANY USE REGULARLY. ENERGY COMES A BATTERY OF A
CHEMICAL REACTION THAT NEED TO BE ACTIVATED SUFFICIENT REGULARLY TO KEEP ITS EFFICIENCY.
WARNING! YOU MUST NOT DISPOSE OF YOUR BATTERY OR YOUR CHARGER IN WITH DOMESTIC
RUBBISH OR REFUSE. A SELECTIVE COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT EXISTS FOR MOST
LOCAL AUTHORITIES (IN FRANCE), AND YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITY (IN FRANCE:
MAIRIE) FOR FURTHER DETAILS. ELECTRIC AND LECTRONIC PRODUCTS CONTAIN HAZARDOUS
SUBSTANCES WHICH CAN HAVE SEVERELY DAMAGING EFFECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT OR ON HUMAN
HEALTH, AND MUST THEREFORE BE PROPERLY RECYCLED.
Your battery is recyclable after use. Return it to your dealer.

The battery supplied with your e-bike conforms to:
• Test standards EN61000-6-1 and EN61000-6-3;
• Testing standard UN38.3 concerning the transport of hazardous materials.
• Testing standard 2006/66/EC
