6 - SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Regularly check the following points:
Wheel nut tightness (18 to 25 Nm for the front wheel, 30 to 40 Nm for the rear wheel).
Tyre wear (replace the tyre when there is noticeable wear) and tyre pressure (60 to 65 Psi- 2.8 to 5 bars).
Your e-bike’s tyres are compatible with the wheel rims: no modifications are necessary, and you should only
use specifically designated replacement components (tyres, inner tubes, frictional components in the braking
system, etc...). Contact your dealer for further information.
Ensure that the steering components (18 to 25 Nm), the pedals (18 to 25 Nm) and the saddle (18 to 25 Nm)
are sufficiently tightened.
Due to its weight and the motor’s inertia, you should factor in longer braking distances for your e-bike,
especially in wet riding conditions.
Your e-bike is a bicycle adapted for use in urban areas and on other roads and paths.
When on public roads, anyone riding a bicycle must respect and observe the requirements of the highway
code in relevant country, as well as the relevant legal requirements for this form of transport.
(e.g.: lighting, signalling, wearing a helmet (advised), reflective devices, etc...).
To ensure that you ride your e-bike safely, we recommend that you periodically check and monitor the
following: the brakes (brake pad wear), the condition of the rims and spokes (wear of rims and spokes),
condition of the tyres, condition of steering components (fastenings, wheel nut tightness) and all other
individual components of your bicycle. The rims should be smooth and free of cracks, ruptures or
deformations. If you notice anything anomalous, particularly relating to the rims, you should have them
serviced immediately.
WARNING Just like any mechanical appliance, a bicycle will deteriorate under heavy loads, and will wear
down.
Different materials and components may react differently to wear and ageing. If a component has passed its
intended service life, it may fail at any time, which risks causing injury to the cyclist. Cracks, scratches and
discoloration in areas subject to high stresses indicate that a component is past its recommended services life
and must be replaced.
It is also important for your safety that you replace critical components which are showing signs of wear or
other problems (e.g.: tyres, rims, etc…) with original component parts. In this case, contact your dealer.

Remain vigilant, and do not allow your attention to linger on the e-bike’s screen when moving.
For your safety, it is advised that you systematically switch on the e-bike’s lights.
We strongly recommend that you wear a helmet.
Wearing a reflective jacket is obligatory when riding in non-urban areas at night, or during the day if visibility
levels are insufficient.
