9 - WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Retain your receipt, which is your proof of purchase.
Retain your original warranty certificate duly completed, signed and stamped by the dealer.
In the case of a complaint, the purchaser of the bike must return the entire bicycle (keys, battery, and
charger) to the store where the purchase was made, accompanied by this certificate.
Repairs may only be made by the store where you purchased your electric bicycle, or by an approved third
party (contact us at the address listed below to obtain a list of approved third parties). Not respecting this
clause, or carrying out modifications to the bicycle’s technical characteristics shall cause the warranty to be
automatically voided.
The warranty shall be rejected if damage is due to:
• A lack of servicing, or defective or incomplete assembly;
• Abnormal use (simultaneous use by two persons, overloading, jumps) or passenger;
• Poor adjustments by the user.
Not included in the context of the warranty is the normal wear of components such as: brake blocks, cables,
chain, light bulbs, tyres, inner tubes, etc. The warranty is not valid if the bicycle is used in competition.
Duration of the warranty:
• 5 years for the frame
• 2 years for other components
• 1 year for the battery
All periods of non-use during the warranty period of more than seven days shall prolong the duration of the
warranty by the length of this period of non-use. This warranty does not entitle anyone to compensation in
cash or in kind for non-use of the bicycle for the duration of the warranty.
In addition, you benefit from a legal guarantee in accordance with provisions of the civil code.
The warranty and after-sales service is to be provided and observed by the store where the purchase of the
bicycle was made. In addition, this store must provide you with the requisite information regarding the use
and servicing of your bicycle.
The warranty does not cover damages caused due to improper usage, failure to respect precautions,
accidents, incorrect usage or commercial usage of the bicycle.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by repairs made by unauthorized (unapproved) persons.
Each electronic component is permanently sealed. Opening one of these components (battery, screen, motor,
controller, etc…) may damage the physical integrity of persons or the system.
Opening or modifying a component in the system shall void the bicycle’s warranty.
The warranty does not cover components showing cracks or breakages or which show visible signs of impacts.
WARNING! Do not confuse servicing and warranty. Maintenance overhauls and adjustments may not be
made for free in the name of the warranty.
Return one photocopy of the warranty certificate, completed, to the address at the bottom of this
certificate.
